New Apprenticeships Centres provide a free service to employers to help them with the sign-up and administration of a New Apprenticeships. They now operate from over 500 sites Australia-wide.
The Australian Government provides a range of financial incentives to encourage employers to take on New Apprentices.

New Apprenticeships offer a job pathway that combines training for a nationally recognised qualification with employment. This job pathway can begin at school with School based New Apprenticeships. The portal was developed in conjunction with state and territory training authorities and the (former) Australian National Training Authority. It is a gateway to many different websites and services.

The Strategic Employment Development Program provides cash incentives of up to $2,000 to private sector employers for taking on additional apprentices in skill shortage industries.
Start-Up Assistance

Start-Up Assistance provides financial assistance to help new apprentices and trainees buy the tools and protective equipment they need to get started. This funding is provided for the individual apprentice or trainee.
Travel and accommodation allowance for apprentices and trainees

Apprentices and trainees who have to travel to attend courses in relation to their training program may be eligible for travel and accommodation allowance. This funding is provided for the individual apprentice or trainee.
